Be present...here or there'
Virtual is a word that is becoming ingrained in our vocabulary and is currently the preferred method for hosting meetings and events. Until this year, the word "virtually" was most commonly used in general terms to mean "in effect though not in fact".
Close synonyms are nearly, practically, and just about—which all mean virtually the same thing.
Today our computer screens take us to family gatherings, meetings, museums, outdoor adventures...anywhere we want to go outside of our own little bubble. We're now able to be anywhere we want to be, virtually, even dropping into sporting events, autumn leaves shows, and live music!
